Classic tennis wear worn both with our tennis dresses and cheerleading uniforms by Tretorn

Writing about my Pink and Green Memories featuring summertime attire, I got to thinking about the classic shoes that we used to wear back then and still do. In my closet are versions of the examples I'm showing above and in the brands that have been so tried n' true preppy for generations. I've pulled here just a few images of the lastest-tweaks with these that are out now and may be a fun addition into a Preppy's Spring and Summer 2010 Wardrobe.

  1. Just ordered a new pair of Tretorns last week! Too bad I couldn't get the pink version, but LandsEnd only had blue and white, so I got the white. AND they were on sale AND free shipping!

  2. Hey there and that's quite a great deal, wow! Blue and white's classic for summer and reminds me a beach n' boating-around, neat :)

Tretorns are just so perennially-Preppy aren't they? I loved them in my tennis n' cheerleading days and really need to get another pair soon...will check out Land's End, thanks for the info! Best to you :)

  3. These are great...I still have an ancient pair of Tretorns, and are due for a new pair, I love them. Unfortunately I fear I missed the Lands' End deal.. sigh.

May your week ahead be fabulous!

  4. Hi there and sorry to hear that you missed out on the Land's End ones... hopefully they'll have another special on Tretorns soon.

Thanks for your post and dropping-by the blog; I hope you enjoyed it and have a great week too! Best, Lachlan
